Photo credits: Nairaland Forum Source: UGC There are seventeen political parties battling for votes in the election, but three main contestants are Rotimi Akeredolu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Eyitayo Jegede for rival Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi for Zenith Labour Party. The election has been largely peaceful except for few reports of violence in some polling units. Voting has closed in many polling units.
